Standon Calling – Real Value Within A Fictional World
August 2010 | Standon, Hertfordshire.
Alice worked with the Heritage Arts Company to create a live event combining the tradition of gallery exhibitions with the unpredictable misrule of a festival theatrical performance. Blurring lines between reality and play, the event asked those who took part to recognise real value within a fictional world. This collection is a re-appropriation of classic vinyl album covers, from Bob Marley to The Beatles.

Give Me Space
April 2008 | The Fleming Collection, London W1.
Alice spent three month in the American West painting ‘en plein air’. This solo show was inspired by the country and cattle ranch she was staying on. The series of landscapes and still lives play with the painter’s capacity or incapacity to capture space.
